Music

Hitting the High Note

My Review

On Friday 9th March I went to Davison School to do a musical theatre day. I went with Emily and about 70 other children from different schools. We learnt songs and dances from high school musical! It was a really good experience and I am really happy that I went. The best part was preforming to all the parents at the end.

Choir have had a fantastic December, spreading Christmas cheer across the local community. Starting on the 2nd December at Rustington Christmas Fair, the choir have also performed at Princess Marina House, Rustington Hall Nursing home, Fairlight Nursing home, and twice at The Laurels day care centre. 37 children are currently attending Choir, and their hard work and dedication has really been worth it, with every single member able to perform a 40 minute program from memory. One particular highlight of our performances saw a 94 year old resident from Rustington Hall literally 'Rocking Around the Christmas tree'. It's amazing what music can do, and so lovely to see everyone's reactions to our pupils. Thank you to all the parents and carers who have helped us walking to the different venues. Your support is invaluable.
